There are many computer game characters out there who grab our attention, however, not many go down as legendary gaming characters, with whom games under ‘their name’ are still being made. One such character is SEGA’s speedy blue colored hedgehog, called Sonic.
Sonic has been popular ever since making his debut on the sega mega drive, with games still being produced for major console types such as the PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii. Sonic games originally begun as platform games, where the user had to navigate Sonic from the start of the level to the end, whilst collecting rings and defeating creatures.
